Prawn Rezala
Ritwik and Pamela will be on a weeklong trip to Puri, to thank lord Jaganath for a peaceful wedding of their only son Anirban to Ridhima. The newlyweds will be all alone at home, to spend some quality time together. Ritwik stacked the fridge with prawns big and small, enough to last them a week. A good opportunity for Ridhima to showcase her cooking skills, after all the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So she decided to prepare something different as prawns are Anirban’s favourite. That evening Ridhima got home early from work and got all the ingredients together, ordered some fresh flowers, and lit up candles to set the mood. When Anirban was back from work, he was already very impressed to see the efforts put in my Ridhima, and then she brought out the evening’s special, “Prawn Rezala” and butter nuns. Both Ridhima and Anirban spent a quiet romantic dinner that night and the nights after. Needless to say, the Prawn Rezala helped her make a permanent place in his heart, and today is often prepared on his demand. In an effort to bring the same joy to your life, we at thecomfortfoods.com today will share the recipe of Prawn Rezala.

Add sugar and salt as per taste. Now add the curd and stir again. Next add the fried prawns and cover the wok with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes. In the meantime, add kesar to the milk, stir it well and add it to the gravy, next add the rose water and let it cook for some more time.

Take another frying pan, add the vegetable oil and let it heat on medium flame. Add the dry red chilies and onion rings, fry it well and keep it aside.

Put the prawn gravy on a serving tray, and garnish it with the red chilies and fried onion rings and serve it hot with butter nun, roti or even polao. Your Prawn Rezala is ready. Hope it is as much comforting for you and your family as it was Ridhima and Anirban.
