Instructions
- To prepare the batter, add flour, curd, baking powder, and food color in a bowl, keep adding water to mix it well, until a smooth consistency. Pour the mixture in a piping tube and keep it ready to fry.
Recipe Notes
To prepare the sugar syrup, take a kadai, add sugar and 1/2 cup water and keep stirring it in low flame, until the sugar dissolves. Add elaichi powder and keep stirring the syrup, until it attains a fine consistency, which is neither sticky nor heavy.
To deep fry the jalebi, add enough vegetable oil in a kadai and heat it in high flame. now take your pipping bag and make rings in the oil. Fry both sides until golden brown. Remove the jalebis from the oil and dip it in the sugar syrup for 2 seconds and serve it hot.
